TRUST

God offers help each step of the way. He is touched by how we feel and we are invited to come to him for help anytime we need it (Hebrews 4:15-16). He is there to help us even when our faith is weak (Matthew 14:25-31). Disciples must trust that he will always be there to extend a hand.

The word trust means to put one’s confidence in someone or something. It has to do with knowing exactly how someone will react to your problems. It means being absolutely persuaded that someone will do right for you and help you.

God has never let anyone down who put their trust in him. He will never let down anyone whose trust is in him. The only way to be a disciple of Christ is to trust completely in him.

“The Lord is good, a place of protection in the day of trouble. And he knows those who trust in him” (Nahum 1:7). If you trust in God, he knows it. And it means a lot to him. The way to please God is to trust him. Don’t focus on anything else but trusting in our Lord Jesus Christ.
