WHY YOU WERE CREATED
Every invention has a purpose.
A telescope was not made merely to exist, but to reveal distant worlds. A clock was fashioned to measure time. The value of any creation is discovered only when its design is understood.
Humanity is no different.
We were not brought into existence by accident or blind chance, but by the deliberate wisdom of God. The Bible declares, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness” (Genesis 1:26), and later reminds us, “We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works” (Ephesians 2:10).
A person who ignores the Creator will always struggle to understand the purpose of life, just as a machine cannot explain itself apart from its designer.
The universe is astonishing in its order. The stars keep their courses, the seasons return with remarkable precision, and even the smallest cell carries instructions beyond the skill of human engineering.
Still, in all creation, mankind alone was given the capacity to know, worship, and love God. That is why no amount of wealth, knowledge, or achievement can satisfy the deepest hunger of the soul.
As the Lord said, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind” (Matthew 22:37). We were created not merely to breathe but to belong, not merely to think but to glorify the One who gave us life (Isaiah 43:7).
When we discover God’s purpose, life begins to make sense. Every trial becomes an opportunity for faith. Every blessing becomes a reason for gratitude. Every day becomes another chance to reflect the character of Christ.
The One who formed us also redeemed us through His Son so that we might walk in fellowship with Him forever (2 Corinthians 5:17-21). The greatest discovery a person can ever make is not found in a laboratory or observatory, but in surrendering to the Creator who made us for Himself.
“For in Him we live and move and have our being” (Acts 17:28).
