THE POWER OF A GODLY EXAMPLE
Paul told Timothy, “Be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity” (1 Timothy 4:12).
Our Words matter. What we say can encourage someone, discourage someone, strengthen someone’s faith, or damage their view of Christ.
Our Walk matters. People are watching how we live, especially when life becomes difficult. A godly life gives credibility to a godly message. We may not realize who is learning from our example, but someone is always watching.
Our Witness matters. We are not called merely to talk about Christ but to represent Him. When our words and our lives point people toward Jesus, we become a living testimony of His grace.
You may be the sermon someone remembers long after they forget the words you preached.
____________
PRAYER
Father, help me to be a godly example in my words, my walk, and my witness. Let my life point others to Jesus, not to myself. Give me wisdom in what I say, faithfulness in how I live, and love in everything I do. May those who watch my life see Christ in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
