THE LOGIC OF LIGHT: WHY CHRIST IS THE TRUE ILLUMINATION OF THE MIND

Science tells us that light is the great revealer. It exposes what is hidden, defines what is vague, and makes the universe intelligible.

We marvel at how light, traveling across unimaginable distances, carries the story of the cosmos to our eyes. It is truly a fascinating consideration.

The Bible, however, tells us of a greater Light, One not bound by physics, distance, or time. “In Your light we see light” (Psalm 36:9).

Christ does not merely illuminate the world; He illuminates the soul. Scientist seek understanding through observation; believers seek understanding through Christ. Together they teach us that true clarity comes when the Light of the World shines into the heart (John 8:12).

The gospel reveals what sin obscures, what fear distorts, and what pride blinds. We come to know everything that we need to know through our knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Just as light reveals the structure of galaxies, Christ reveals the structure of our lives, our need, our purpose, our hope. He came to reveal to us everything we need.

“God has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ” (2 Corinthians 4:6).

To walk in His light is to see reality as it truly is: God reigning, Christ redeeming, and the Spirit guiding.

The universe is illuminated by stars; the soul is illuminated by Christ.
