ACCEPT CHRIST FOR YOURSELF
There comes a moment in every person’s life when the decision becomes deeply personal. No one can believe on your behalf. Your parents cannot save you. Your pastor cannot save you. A godly spouse or faithful friend cannot save you. The invitation of the gospel is addressed to each heart individually.
Jesus said, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). The call is not merely to join a church or embrace a religion, but to come to Christ Himself.
Many admire Jesus from a distance. They respect His teachings, appreciate His compassion, and acknowledge His sacrifice, yet they never entrust themselves to Him. The Scriptures declare, “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name” (John 1:12). Salvation is not found in knowing about Christ but in knowing Christ. It is a personal relationship established through faith in the crucified and risen Savior.
The Lord has done everything necessary for your redemption. “For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God” (1 Peter 3:18). At Calvary He bore the penalty our sins deserved, and on the third day He rose in triumph over death. Because He lives, all who place their trust in Him may receive forgiveness, new life, and the sure hope of eternity. God’s invitation is extended freely, for “whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely” (Revelation 22:17).
Do not depend upon yesterday’s intentions or tomorrow’s promises. The Bible says, “Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation” (2 Corinthians 6:2). Every heartbeat is a gift from God, and none of us knows what another day may bring. If the Holy Spirit is speaking to your heart, do not harden it. Respond in humble faith while His invitation is before you.
If you are ready to receive Christ, turn from your sins and place your confidence in Him alone. Confess Him as Lord, believe that God raised Him from the dead, and walk with Him in faithful obedience. He has promised, “The one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out” (John 6:37). Those who come to Him are welcomed with grace, cleansed by His blood, and adopted into the family of God.

Prayer
Gracious Father, thank You for offering salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Draw every searching heart to the Savior today. Grant repentance, strengthen faith, and fill each believer with the joy of walking closely with You. May many accept Christ for themselves and rejoice in the gift of eternal life.
