#280 THE CHRIST WHO NEVER CHANGES 10-13-26

Everything around us changes. Seasons come and go, friends move away, familiar places disappear, and the strength we once enjoyed slowly fades. The world we knew yesterday may look very different tomorrow. Yet in the midst of all this uncertainty, there is One who remains forever the same: Jesus Christ.

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). His character has not changed, His promises have not failed, and His love has not diminished. The hands that welcomed sinners still offer mercy. The Savior who wept beside the tomb of Lazarus still understands our sorrow. The Lord who went to the cross still possesses the power to save those who come to God through Him.

People may disappoint us. Circumstances may confuse us. Things change. Even our own feelings can shift from one day to the next. But Christ is not governed by changing circumstances or passing emotions. His truth remains true, His grace remains sufficient, and His throne remains established.

Malachi 3:6 records God's declaration, “For I am the LORD, I do not change.” We can rest in the faithfulness of the One who keeps His word. The same Christ who called disciples to follow Him still calls us to trust, obey, and walk in His footsteps.

Our confidence is not that life will always remain stable. Our confidence is that Jesus will remain faithful when life is anything but stable. When tomorrow brings questions we cannot answer, we can hold firmly to the Savior who already knows tomorrow.

Let the world change around you, but never lose your confidence in the unchanging Christ.
